These are the same words that Dr. Emoto used in his research. To view the beautiful images of the Crystals that Dr. Emoto was able to capture during his research, visit his website at http://www.masuro-emoto.net.
I’m not sure if it’s the actual written words that create the effect on the water or if it’s our thoughts. In science, the observer effect refers to changes that the act of observing has on the phenomenon being observed. For example: observing an electron will change its path. Not only does this happen because the observing light or radiation contains enough energy to disturb it, but it also happens if no measurement is made and if only it becomes possible to make such a measurement.
Fundamental to contemporary Quantum Theory is the notion that there is no phenomenon until it is observed. The implications of the ‘Observer Effect’ are profound because, if true, it means that before anything can manifest in the physical universe it must first be observed. Presumably observation cannot occur without the pre-existence of some sort of consciousness to do the observing. The Observer Effect clearly implies that the physical Universe is the direct result of ‘consciousness’.
Taking this into consideration I would have to lean towards the idea that it is our thoughts that are triggered by the written word that are actually causing the effect on the water.
Whether it’s our thoughts or the images of the words themselves, it’s hard to deny that something is manifesting in the water when we look at the results of Dr. Emoto’s research. As an experiment, I taped two Kanji characters on my saltwater aquarium, one for “Pure/Clear” and another for “Peaceful”. The results were absolutely amazing.
