Spinach

When I was a kid and Popeye was still a young man, he would eat his spinach and causing his biceps to bulge in a display of superpower, but as he got older eating that spinach would also protect him against osteoporosis, heart disease, colon cancer, arthritis, and other diseases. Spinach is an excellent source of vitamin K, vitamin A, manganese, folate, magnesium, iron, vitamin C, vitamin B2, calcium, potassium, and vitamin B6. It is a very good source of dietary fiber, copper, protein, phosphorous, zinc and vitamin E. In addition, it is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, niacin and selenium.

Salmon

Salmon is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and selenium. It is also a very good source of protein, niacin and vitamin B12 and a good source of phosphorous, magnesium and vitamin B6.
